Methodological seminar on "Monte-Carlo Simulations applied to finance" at BCEAO headquarters, Dakar, Senegal (March 4-6, 2020).

Professor Issouf Soumaré, President of the Institute Soumaré of Finance, led a 3-day training seminar on Monte Carlo simulations and its applications to financial and economic modeling for the benefit of the staff of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO for its French acronym). This methodological training seminar was held at the BCEAO headquarters in Dakar, Senegal from March 4 to 6, 2020. During his stay, Professor Soumaré also had working sessions with the researchers of the COFEB (the French acronym of the training and research centre of the Bank), on their research projects and provided advice. This visit was part of the cooperation agreement between COFEB-BCEAO and Université Laval, signed under the leadership of Professor Soumaré, when he was the Director of International Relations at the Faculty of Business Administration of Université Laval (Canada).
